Message:
I am thinking of closing my RBC Direct investing account because of the fees they charge for the RRSP ($75) and the quarterly maintenance fee ($20) if you don't hold a registered account with them (other than TFSA).
Before doing so, I need to find an alternative discount broker who will not charge any fee for a TFSA in which I will deposit share cetificates to start tax free synthetic Dripping. But I will also do some trades from time to time.
The best to my knowledge would be tradefreedom but will they charge me if at any time I want my certificates back.
Also, do they honour the drip discounts?

Thanks for your feedback.
There have been so many changes in the brokerage fees recently...
